Tasked to create a beautiful new outdoor living spcae, the Greystones Paving team recently undertook a remarkable new garden patio project crafting a stunning new Egyptian limestone patio in Greystones, Co. Wicklow. The job involved transforming an old, unused garden space into a beautiful new area, decorated with flower beds and was completed in February 2024.
The patio installation began with meticulous groundwork, as we carefully laid a fresh 804 hardcore stone base, ensuring its thorough compaction and precise leveling across the entire area.
With the foundation firmly established, our experienced paving contractors embarked on the intricate process of laying each Egyptian limestone slab. First we laid a wet bed of concrete, and then we positioned each slab individually. During this process we always ensure that each slab was perfectly placed, with all levels aligned to guarantee the flawless installation of the patio.
To elevate the aesthetic appeal of the garden patio even further, we incorporated two elegantly designed boxed flower beds, adorned with lime stone cobbles. The final piece of the patio was the addition of two sophisticated Egyptian limestone steps, imparting a sense of grandeur to the finished Egyptian limestone patio.
